Our new District 5040 Governor Nominee Designate Yvonne Anderson has served as Past President of the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen. She is an experienced Rotary leader with a strong record in membership growth, international service, community engagement and organizational leadership and currently serves as the Richmond/Delta Area Membership Director while continuing as an active member of her club's Board of Directors.

International service has been a significant focus of Yvonne's Rotary work. During her presidency, she helped secure District and Global Grant support for a WASH initiative in Uganda, bringing sustainable clean water, sanitation and hygiene solutions to multiple rural villages in need.

Yvonne is also leading the development of the Healthy Living Club, an initiative designed to engage both Rotarians and members of the wider community in healthy, active living. The program creates a new avenue for community engagement while introducing prospective members to Rotary through shared experiences and relationships. Her goal is to develop a model that can be replicated by clubs throughout District 5040.

Her leadership style is practical and action-oriented. She believes Rotary is strongest when clubs have clear goals, strong leaders, engaged members and projects that create measurable impact in their communities and around the world.

Yvonne brings to the role of District Governor a combination of Rotary experience, international service, membership leadership, business expertise, community leadership and governance experience, together with a demonstrated ability to turn ideas into action. She looks forward to serving all our clubs and District leaders as we all work together in service above self.
