Annually, the District puts on a series of informational sessions that will highlight District Committee support and the 2021-2022 priorities.  These sessions can be attended by all Rotarians who would like to know more about the District and Rotary in general.  We strongly encourage all Presidents, Presidents-Elect and club executive to attend.  Again, this year these sessions will be held virtually.  We will be providing a series of 4 topics that will cover:

  • The Rotary Foundation
  • Membership
  • Public Image/Public Relations
  • Youth Programs and Rotaract
To attend everyone must register.

April 10th (10AM-12PM)- The Rotary Foundation

This session will cover Foundation Basics and Grant Management.  The Foundation Basics will give general knowledge of The Rotary Foundation. The Gtant Management presentation will follow after a short break. These sessions are required for grant management specialist/designates to learn how the Rotary Foundation works and the process clubs must use to apply for grants.

Each club must send 2 members for this session to qualify for any grants (District or Global) in 2021-2022.   In addition to this session, at least one club member must also take the E-Learning course on Grant Management (focus on global grants).  There are significant changes in the Grant Management process and is strongly recommended for as many people as possible.

April 22 and April 24th- Membership

This session will cover membership support, strategies to attract new Rotarians and most importantly retention.  Three pilot projects have been conducted in 2020-2021 and we would love to see increased usage of these pilot projects results.  RI has set several targets/themes including “Do More, Grow More” and “Each One, Bring One” with a goal of 1.3 million Rotarians.  Come see how our District is going to assist in achieving this growth target.  New Model clubs, Passport (Caused) based clubs and Rotarian engagement will be covered.

Note: Since membership is important and key to growing Rotary the April 22 session will be repeated on April 24.
