Fishing on Dragon Lake  (Friday May17th)

Spend a day on world-renowned fly fishing haven Dragon Lake. Whether you are a bass-master or a novice, there is nothing quite like spending time on the water, surrounded by view...even though you are less than 10km from Quesnel city centre.

One of the jewels of the Cariboo, Dragon Lake is the home of trophy size rainbows. Twelve-pounders are caught on a regular basis and because of such great fishing, this lake is often featured on TV fishing programs. All methods of fishing work well, however, Dragon Lake is considered a fly fisher's dream. Whenever you are visiting the Quesnel/Barkerville area, fishing this lake for that trophy rainbow should be high on your list of priorities.

The hosts for your catch-and-release fishing derby experience will be local a-fish-ionados, led by Rotarian Greg Lawrence. If you have any questions, drop Greg a line at greg@cfquesnel.com

NB: To pass the 4 Way Test, we should mention this picture
of Greg was not taken at Dragon Lake...but you can see he
knows what he's doing!
