We are very pleased to feature two paintings that have been donated to the conference.
![]() | By Ulf K Ottho, a friend of our District Govenor Drew Antrobus. The scene might look familiar as it's the picture on our conference postcard that was taken by DG Drew. It's 4 ft by 3 ft in size, a large painting, acrylic on canvas, and framed. Approximate worth is $2500 |
Princess Chieko This is a "giclee print," a high quality, high resolution, and fade resistant inkjet printing process. On canvas. 32 in by 48 in. It involves utilizing specialized printer's archival quality inks and HDR pigments to create fine art prints with exceptional colour accuracy and promises 200 years color fading resistance. The same material is used in prints of Picasso, Monet, etc. Approximate worth is $2800 This painting is by Karissa Narukami, a young Canadian with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She would have been a special guest at our conference except she has an art exhibit on the same weekend as the conference. This particular piece is one of many works of art that have been sent to the moon as part of the Lunar Codex for preservation and posterity.
