Margaret Page, Past President, Toastmasters International
When Margaret Page delivered a speech to an audience in Washington, D.C., last year, she had no way of knowing the reverberations from her words would lead to her resignation as president of an international organization. As someone who spent years honing her communication skills and empowering others to do the same, Margaret was humbled by the process and developed a fresh respect for the awesome power of apology.

During this keynote presentation, Margaret will draw on her leadership experiences to help anyone experiencing a pivotal decision point take responsibility and push forward with humility and sincerity.

Sustainable Landscaping to Reduce Water Wastage

Para Space Landscaping believes that taking care of our clients and team means also minimizing our environmental impact through eco-friendly landscaping practices. We feel that leadership in education, safety, efficiency, and quality must be matched with leadership in ecological stewardship.
Our company advocates that urban landscapes are not solely decorative but also serve a greater environmental purpose; they help manage stormwater, reduce the heat island effect, sequester carbon, and clean the air.

Jeff Foley, CEO and President of Para Space Landscaping will discuss sustainable landscaping as a practice that aims to reduce water wastage by using water-efficient techniques and choosing plants that require less water. By implementing these strategies, we can create a sustainable landscape that helps to conserve this precious resource.
