The Rotary District 5040 Nominating Committee has completed the interview process for the District Governor position for the 2023-2024 Rotary year. The committee has selected Shirley-Pat Chamberlain from the Rotary Club of Steveston.
 
As per our policy, we now enter into a 14-day period in which any challenges by candidates must be sent to current District Governor David Hamilton no later than Nov. 25, 2020. Dave can be reached at dhami@dccnet.com

Shirley-Pat Chamberlain’s biography

  • Shirley-Pat joined Rotary officially on March 26th, 2008 at  the Rotary Club of Williams Lake Daybreak,
  • She continues to be the Ambassador of the Write to Read BC project and to date we have opened 15 libraries learning centres across the province.
  • Shirley-Pat has been a member of the Rotary Club of Steveston since 2019.
  • She was a director of the Rotary Club of Williams Lake Daybreak Board (2009-2013 and President for 2011-2012.
  • She is currently a director of RCS-R Board (2020-2021) and of Rotary Club of Steveston-Richmond Charitable Society Board (2020-2021).
  • Shirley-Pat has also been the Chair of the District Membership Committee the past two years.
