The Interact Club of King George Secondary had a World Polio Day celebration on October 25th . Pictured are the Interactors and the Teacher Sponsors with the Mayor's City of Vancouver Proclamation for World Polio Day.. These students had a bake sale and raised funds for PolioPlus.
 
 
The Interact Club of Rockridge Secondary joined the West Vancouver Sunrise Club at their polio-focused morning meeting on Oct 25th.
In the back row are 2 members of the Interact Executive Serena Lu and Kassandra Harrison with their Principal Judy Duncan in the middle.  Second row is Club President Ardath Paxton Mann and AG Ann Marie Ferguson.  Front row is outgoing Mayor Michael Smith and Chief of Police Len Goerke who is also a member of the West Van Sunrise Club.
The Rockridge club also had a fundraiser event and raised $412 for PolioPlus.
 
 
Pumpkins for Polio was a fun fundraiser for the Interact Club of Brooks Secondary in Powell River with students from the general population donating a toonie for the right to create a carved pumpkin. As well as being fun, it helped raised awareness in the school of both the Interact Club and the battle to eradicate polio.
