Tuesday, February 27 - US Consul General at Rotary Club of Vancouver -  A treat this week to be able to attend the regular meeting of my home club, the Rotary Club of Vancouver.   This busy governor year has made my home club attendance infrequent, but I was glad to be at this meeting as we had an outstanding speaker - US Consul General Katherine Dahanhi who talked about  "A Diplomat's View on Volunteerism".   Every Rotary club in District 5040 is different, but one of the reasons I have belonged to the Vancouver club for so many years (besides the great friendships and marvellous service) are the calibre of our weekly speakers.   Ms Dehanhi presented a great talk on many of her career experiences with volunteers and answered topical questions from the members about US / Canada relations.
