District Governor Lorne Calder is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Eidsvik to a newly created position as Executive Administrator, District 5040.  Her duties will be to assist the District Governor and the Governor Team, the Assistant Governors, the Executive Assistant Governor and all Clubs and their members.

Nancy has served on most club positions. For the District she was Assistant Governor for the Pacific Northwest for three years.  When she moved to Vancouver, she was appointed as Assistant Governor for the Burnaby/New Westminster area and served for three years. Nancy also served as Executive Assistant Governor for PDG Bala Naidoo when he was District Governor.

 

 

Nancy is a current member of the District Membership Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee. She is currently the Vice-Chair for the District Conference 2022 and Vice-Chair for the District Conference 2023.

She is also the membership Chair for her club, Rotary Club of New Westminster.
Nancy is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, member of the Paul Harris Society, the new Polio Society, Bequest Society,  and a Major Donor (level 2) to Rotary Foundation.

Nancy was named “Rotarian of the Year” in 2010 by the then current District Governor, PDG Penny Offer. 
Nancy invites anyone or any Club who needs assistance to contact her. She states that “what she does not know she will find out for you.” Nancy is known for her prompt responses to emails.
