The club inducted the Delta Community Foundation as a non-profit corporate member.
A Shred a Thon raised $4,000 for the local Food Bank and the food pantry for high school students in need.
The Delta-based branch of Canadian LifeBoat Institute presented on shipping and boating challenges on the Fraser River and in open water.
Some members started an emerging endowment fund at the Delta Community Foundation.

The club is selling Emergency Kits as a fundraiser.

The club distributed funds to following causes: $5K to Seniors’ Services Society, $5K to Dan’s Legacy Foundation, $10K to Kidsport New Westminster.

The club continued its longstanding commitment to Richmond Hospice House for compassionate community care with a donation of $5,000.
PDG Lorne Calder gave members a presentation on Rotary, Peace, and the Peace Index -- background of Rotary's Peace Initiatives, strategic partnerships and how our Rotary Universities use important data from Peace Index.
Members mourned the sudden loss of a member's beloved daughter. Members provided support and contributed groceries to help ease the burden on the family.
Richmond Rotaract
President Ken Choy presented to 30 members at the AGM of Stevenson London Secondary School Interact Club and to 60 at the AGM of Hugh Boyd Secondary School Interact Club and invited Interactors to join Richmond Rotaract's AGM on May 11.
Some members attended the District 5040 Interact Conference on April 6, sharing their experiences as Rotaractors and promoted the Rotaract Club of Richmond to potential members.
Members also attended the Rotary District 5040 Conference April 25-27, participated in the House of Friendship and helped run the End Polio Now Walk.

A new member was inducted into the club.
Club member Dr. Danilo Salcedo spoke about his Peace Dental Mission to the Philippines where 2,700 people were treated for free in one week.
Jeff Colby spoke on a Rotary water project in Uganda, which the club plans to support once again.
Elena Egala organized the loading of a Rotary World Help shipping container with medical supplies for Ukraine.
Richmond Sunset
The club has set up a LinkedIn account for public image and to expand its reach.
Hugh Boyd and Steveston-London Interactors attended the District Interact Conference and won first and second prize respectively in the video contest.
Some members attended RC Vancouver Arbutus's fundraiser for Polio Eradication.
Nine members attended the April 25-27 District Conference, for which the club was a $1000 Silver Sponsor and promoted the Rotary Peace Garden in Richmond.
At the District Conference, Magdalen Leung received The Lifetime Achievement Award. President Jim Ling received the District Governor Award.
Sechelt
The annual Volunteer Fair on April 12 was a success – a community event where the club displayed information, photos, brochures, etc. about Rotary International and our club’s projects.
Squamish
Members participated in Community Programs such as Peace by Chocolate, Tim Hortons Smile Cookie, Easter Egg Hunt for Literacy, Trivia Night at Howe Sound Brewery and Pitch In Day.
Steveston
Seven members attended the April 25-27 District Conference where the first fire trailer for quick and remote access to wildfires, sponsored by the club and Rotary’s Disaster Aid Canada, was featured in a presentation. This fire trailer and eight others will be donated to nine First Nation communities in BC.
Four new members are anticipated to be joining the club.
Sunshine Coast Sechelt
To mark Rotary’s Maternal Health and Childcare theme in April, a video was shown to members about how the club contributes to this locally and to the world program.
Held the 4th Annual Volunteer Fair.
Members assisted the Davis Bay-Selma Park-Wilson Creek Community Association with doing a BBQ at the Easter Egg Hunt

Six students from Prince Rupert are attending. Because the demand is strong, RC Prince Rupert may run a similar program next year.
Tsawwassen
The club presented BC & Alberta Guide Dogs with $50,000 to support the capital campaign for their new facility.
It held the annual Easter in the Park event on April 19th in Diefenbaker Park with 1,000 people attending the event.
The theatre group of 16 had a dinner and theatre evening at Mario's restaurant followed by the production of Bluebirds at the Arts Centre.
The Garden Club held a field trip to a nursery to stock up on plants for the spring/summer season.
Vancouver Arbutus
The club received the Outstanding Club of the Year Award at the District Conference
