Jordon Prokuda
Image Jordon Prokuda is the President of the newly-chartered Surrey Central City Rotary Club. Over the past four years Jordon has been both a facilitator of District 5050’s Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program for young adults Aged 18-25 and has been both a head facilitator and committee member of District 5050’s Youth Adventures in Leadership Program for youth aged 15-17. Last year, Jordon presented as a keynote speaker at the 2013 District 5050 District Conference in Vancouver on The Power of Youth Engagement and facilitated a breakout session at the District 5050 District Assembly on the same topic. Outside of Rotary, Jordon is a Border Services Officer with the Federal Government of Canada, working in the areas of Customs and Immigration enforcement. For the past four years Jordon has been involved with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics, and was recently invited to take part in the opening ceremonies of the BC Special Olympics. Jordon has recently been accepted as a Canadian representative to the One Young World conference in Dublin, Ireland. There he will meet with the best and brightest young leaders from across the world and champion the idea of Rotary as a way for young leaders to connect with experienced community leaders and business professionals.
