Gordon Dalglish - District Governor (2009-2010)

Gordon M. Dalglish is a member of the Rotary Club of Richmond Sunrise.

Gordon joined the Rotary Club of North Vancouver, BC in 1988 and served as International, Club, and Vocational Service Director. Gordon also served as Marketing Director for the Great Capilano Duck Race for 10 years. Moving to Richmond, BC, Gordon joined the Rotary Club of Richmond Sunrise and served in various positions on the board, assuming the role of President in 2002-2003.

Gordon's passion has been in Rotary Youth Programs for the past 15 years; and has served as a Youth Exchange host family.

At the District level, Gordon has served as the Newsletter editor for 4 years, District Conference Program co-chair, 2005-2006 and Program Chair for 2007-2008. In 2005 Gordon was appointed Assistant Governor for Richmond/Delta and served in that capacity for 3 years. He was Annual Giving Chair on the District Rotary Foundation Committee, 2006 - 2007 and has served on the Youth Exchange and RYLA District Committees.

Born in Scotland, Gordon's classification is Information Technology and he currently works for IBM Canada Ltd. Gordon has a son and family in South Surrey.
