Lohs Rotary Foundation Endowment

Endowment Funds

An endowment fund has been established with a gift from Carol and Charles Loh, Governor of District 5040 1992-1993 and a member of the Rotary Club of Vancouver Chinatown.  The endowment provides opportunities for scholarships and Group Study Exchanges between District 5040 and the People's Republic of China.  The focus of the endowment is in the field of medicine, health care, and health care administration.

 

In 2005 the Loh Endowment funded a Rotary World Peace Fellow to study in 2005-2007. Melanie Bennett from Ottawa, Ontario has been selected to be the first "Loh Rotary World Peace Fellow". She will study in Japan for two years.

 

Thank you to Charles and Carol for their generousity and continuing concern to promote world peace and understanding through education.
