"Striking Gold" Legacy Project
Friends, Rotarians, countrymen...thankyou for your socks, toques, and toiletries
Every District Conference aims to leave a positive footprint after the curtain comes down and the participants head home, and "Striking Gold" is no different.
Quesnel has a homeless shelter, "Seasons House", to provide a roof and a bed for those with nowhere to go when the sun goes down. So we coordinated a collection of gloves, socks, toques and toiletry items such as shampoos, soaps, deodarants, toothpaste, toothbrushes....and our Conference attendees delivered!

This is fantastic and I thank you so much for thinking of us! We don't receive funding for these essential items, yet go through them like crazy! We really count on our community for these things:) Yes, toques, socks, mittens, toiletry items such as deodorants, shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste, toothbrushes etc are perfect for collecting for Seasons House!
