LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN DISTRICT 5040

Rotary District 5040 has numerous vacancies available for 2024-25 for a variety of roles.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the District Governor team and other district committees to help shape the direction of the district.

Shadowing opportunities are available with the current chairs of the committees.
The posts available are:
- 2 x Board of Directors positions
- 5 x Assistant Governors (Northwest, Cariboo, Sea-to-Sky, 2 positions in Vancouver).
- Assistant Governors must be a past president of a Rotary Club.
- District Membership Chair
- District Historian
- Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee Chair
- District Youth Committee Chair
- District Strategic Planning Chair
- District Awards Chair.
The posts above are one-year appointments, with an expectation that they will usually be renewed twice for a total of three years.
The District is also looking for a volunteer who can review our policies on records retention in a world where technology has changed greatly and advise on an appropriate course of action. This is not a committee role.
In addition, the District welcomes volunteers who may wish to serve on any District committee, whether listed here or not.
The application closing date is October 20, 2023.

However, if no suitable application is received for a position, it may be filled at the discretion of the Governor's Team.
