Thursday, October 12 - The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen meets over breakfast at the Beach Grove Golf Club, and the District's largest club (100 members now) has a great turnout for the Governor's visit.   President Laura Dixon handles the meeting, and it is an active one indeed.  Not only is this an active club in the community, it is also very active in the District - home to our Membership Chair,  District Conference Chair,  Foundation Committee  Chair,  Peace Committee and Presidential Peace Conference Chair, and many more - thanks to all for your enthusiasm and support of Rotary!

This very active club has successfully placed the Rotary name throughout the community and we head out on a tour after the meeting - visiting Diefenbaker Park which is home to the Rotary Waterworks Splash Park as well as a unique Musical Play Space.   Recently installed here is one of the club's new Little Lending Libraries!   The club also lights up the park for Christmas - so their work here is year round.  From there we head over to Griffin park where a most unique three level drinking fountain has been installed to provide hydration to runners, disabled persons as well as their pooches!   We finish the tour at Rotary Square in the centre of town.   Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen for all you do.
