New Paul Harris Fellow recogniton folder starting in August will reduce cost.

At their March meeting, The Rotary Foundation Trustees continued to find innovative ways to reduce expenses with their decision to change the Paul Harris Fellow recognition award from the current padded cover to a heavy paper folder. This will save US$125,000 annually, making more financial resources available for the Foundation’s humanitarian and educational activities.

All Paul Harris Fellow certificates will be issued in the new folder beginning 1 August.

Paul Harris Fellow recognition, established in 1957 in honor of Rotary’s founder, expresses appreciation for a $1,000 contribution to The Rotary Foundation. Rotarians may also designate a Paul Harris Fellow to recognize another person who supports the Foundation’s mission of building world understanding and peace. More than 1.3 million individuals have been named Paul Harris Fellows.
