New Governor Selected

The District 5040 Nominating committee is pleased to announce that the committee has selected Lyn Stroshin, a member of the Rotary Club of Whistler Millennium as District Governor for 2016-17.
Lyn is a member and a past president (2007) of the RC of Whistler Millennium. She is the Canadian director for the Rotary North American Youth Exchange Network. Lyn has been very active in all levels of the youth exchange program in District 5040. Lyn is a member of the board of directors of District 5040 Inc.
Lyn has been active with the International Skiing Fellowship. She is a board member of the Whistler Community Foundation.
She has a Masters degree in Educational Practice. Lyn works at the Chopra Addiction and Wellness Centre located in Paradise Valley. At the centre Lyn teaches the Chopra educational classes as well as teaching yoga and meditation.
Lyn is married to Alex Stroshin. They have four children.
