Get ready for 2012 RYLA Lakelse

RYLA Lakelse is from July 5 to 8 in Lakelse Kinsmen Camp in Kitimat.
 

 

 

 

RYLA Lakelse is a 3 day Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp for high school students who have a strong desire to make their school or community a better place. The youths will have completed Grade 8, 9, or 10 by June 30th. It will be held at the Lakelse Lake KinKamp, a ten minute drive from the Terrace-Kitimat airport.

The camp teaches leadership skills while instilling the Rotary ideal of high ethical standards. It inspires young people to create and carry out projects that exemplify Service Above Self. RYLA also introduces them to exciting opportunities through other Rotary youth programs.

RYLA Lakelse is seeking your sponsorship of one or two students with leadership potential, not necessarily proven leadership skills. Ideal RYLA candidates have the creativity and capacity to think outside the box, and the courage to step out of their “comfort zone” in facing challenges.
