Sunday, February 11 - Rotary Club of New Westminster Celebrates 90 Years -  The special weekend continued as we joined the Rotary Club of New Westminster to celebrate the club's 90 years of service in that community.    More than 120 people gathered at the Inn at the Quay for the event, and among the special guests were Rotary International President Ian Riseley and Juliet, Rotary International Vice President Dean Rhors and Rhino, and District 5050 Governor Lindagene Coyle.

MC MIchael Crean had the program running (as we arrived a bit late from the Van Deusen Garden event) but we got right into the swing of things.   I had the privilege of introducing the Rotary International President and he gave a lovely address to the assembled group, honouring their 90 years of history and service.  There was good coverage of the club's past history by PDG Del Paterson and others.

The group then enjoyed a nice brunch and special time to together, many getting photos with President Ian and Juliet who were very obliging of their time with the club members.
