A new book about District 5040 Rotarians is being written - your help is needed.

I have finished my first book on volunteer Service through Rotary called "Will I Make a Difference".

I am now ready to start my second book.

When I was just at PETS in Seattle a few weeks ago, one of the keynote speakers, Jennifer Jones, spoke on how Rotarians do not share their stories and thereby we are not letting the communities know what Rotary does.

I am certain there are many touching stories in our District and I would like to document them in a book. The stories can be funny or serious, it can be personal or about your Club, it can be local or international.  These are stores we wish to share with others both Rotarians and non-Rotarians.

All I ask is that the Rotarians send me their stories, they are giving me permission to publish the story. They will get full credit for the story unless I am I am instructed not to do so. If I make editorial changes to their stories, I will send it back for their approval.

What is your Rotary story?  Is it about your club, how you joined Rotary, work you did on a service project locally or internationally. Do you have a story about Rotarians you met while doing a make-up or a serendipitous meeting with a Rotarian?  Did a Rotarian help you in a special way? Did your Rotary pin open a memorable door for you? Please share your story.

Thank you and I look forward to reading your story and including it in my new book.
