Tuesday, April 24 - Rotary Club of Vancouver - It was good to visit my home club once again and catch up with the many activities and good work the club does. The meeting featured a presentation of a cheque for $8,000 to "The Door is Open" in support of the work this group does on the Downtown East Side with shelter and food for those in need. The speaker was CEO Kevin Desmond of Translink who gave a great presentation on where transit in Metro Vancouver is headed.
